The servant-leader is servant first. It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve; to serve first. Servant Leaders intentionally focus on identifying and meeting the needs of others; this motivates and inspires them to influence and lead, rather than to acquire power, wealth, popularity, and fame for themselves.
If serving is below you, then you stand no chance to become a leader.
