Never Dull Your Sparkle To Fit Into Someone’s Opinion Of What You Should Be.

Have you ever been in a situation where you are so happy or excited about someone or something? Then someone comes along and says something that makes you doubt everything you are doing and thinking? This has happened to me, and in many instances, I allowed someone’s opinion to control my life to a certain degree. Now, I fully understand that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, but I CHOOSE whether it affects me or not.

If someone is trying to steal your joy or “sparkle,” remember: you have the power to choose if they do or if they don’t. Anyone can say anything about you; the conversation you have with yourself, however, will determine it affect you. Someone’s opinion of you doesn’t have to become your reality, continue to let your light shine and never dull your sparkle to fit into someone’s opinion of what you should be.
