More and more leaders are coming to understand that employee empowerment is paramount to achieving organizational goals. They realize that people are their most strategic and prize resource; all other organizational elements – technology, products, processes – result from the actions of their team. To that end, leaders are increasingly concerned about ensuring that their employees feel genuinely empowered to contribute to the company’s mission, to drive value to their customers, and to ensure that their team becomes the very best version of themselves.
Leaders have to be resolute about their desire to foster an empowered organization and have the commitment to invest the necessary time and energy to make it work because true empowerment will deliver a powerful upside for employees, their leaders, and the entire organization.
