A True Leader

ree

A true leader is someone who is willing to challenge their superior, advocating for the interests of their team even when it means putting their own career at risk. This kind of manager demonstrates courage and integrity by standing up for what is right, prioritizing the well-being of their team over personal advancement.

They understand that effective leadership is not only about following orders but also about creating a supportive environment where team members feel valued and heard. By taking a stand, they inspire trust and respect within their team, creating a culture where innovation and collaboration can flourish, even in challenging conditions. Such actions define them as a genuine leader committed to the success of both their team and the organization.

Not to be contrary.....but (LOL). The manager who has to stand up for their team in jeopardy of their career... hasn't put the strategy in place to never have to be in that situation.. Art of War...

“Thus it is that in war the victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won, whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterwards looks for victory.”
