No One Has All The Right Answers

"You can tell a bully from a leader by how they treat people who disagree with them." - Miles K. Davis

Building a team with conflicting world views, or even differing opinions of your industry, will push you to think critically – even more so than you may have in the past. Leaders surround themselves with competent people who can make the impossible possible and create an environment where someone can raise their hand and say "I disagree" without fear of victimization or termination. These are the companies that achieve incredible feats, and these are the companies that produce outstanding people.

If you want to build a great company, permit your team to disagree with you, listen to all their feedback because it's not about you; it's all about providing the best possible service and products that make a difference in the lives of the people you are entrusted to serve.
