Too many people feel that having a position of leadership and authority is their God-given right. They feel superior to those in their employ or at so-called lower levels in the organization. I have often seen a certain level of arrogance and entitlement exhibited by people in leadership positions
that seek to tear people down instead of lift people up.
Leaders don't strike people down with belittling comments and never intentionally try to place you in an embarrassing or demeaning position. They show a genuine interest in you personally and professionally by asking, "How are you?" or "How's your family?" while listening and expressing real
concern for your situation.
According to Inky Johnson, anybody who has direct contact with people daily that's an opportunity to change someone's life. Don't ever pass up a chance to be of encouragement to other people,
don't ever pass up an opportunity to inspire someone because true leadership is all about people and inspiring people to believe that the impossible is possible; when leaders can inspire a group of people to perform beyond their normal limitations, great things will happen.
