It will contribute to higher productivity levels and profitability. It makes employees want to come to work and not dread it. It inspires and motivates them to work harder, produce more, and become more engaged.
We spend so much of our time at our place of work; it should be a natural extension of our home, and I believe in all my heart that every organization should be a great place to work. If a leader has no appreciation for their team, how can you expect the team to sustain their great effort daily? When people are giving it their all, and their work is taken for granted, you cannot expect that team to perform at a high level all the time.
