Treating employees with respect, showing appreciation for their work, and being an encourager will create a desire in employees to also treat customers and clients well, according to Becky Vaughn-Furlow. It will contribute to higher productivity levels and profitability. It makes employees want to come to work and not dread it. It inspires and motivates them to work harder, produce more, and become more engaged.
We spend so much of our time at our place of work; it should be a natural extension of our home, and I believe in all my heart that every organization should be a great place to work. If a leader has no appreciation for his/her team, how can you expect the team to sustain their great effort every day? When people are giving it their all, and their work is taken for granted, you cannot expect that team to perform at a high level all the time.
Employees are the lifeblood of any organization and if they are not treated like they make a difference, your organization will be average at best.
Such a powerful message. And so true. ❤️
